Important Information

Check-in and Check-out Procedures

  • Check in is after 4pm and checkout is by 10am.
  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.

Property Access

  • Located in the gated community of Fish Camp II at Eagles Nest.
  • Please note the lofted space is for owner's use only.
  • Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.

Policies and Rules

  • No smoking allowed.
  • Minimum age: 25 years.
  • Children allowed.
  • No events allowed.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home. Homeowner has severe allergies.
  • Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals please visit: offroadadventuresnc
  • Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.).
  • In the event there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsmans Lodge.
  • All visitors on premise at winery must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced.
  • The summer concerts are open to all guests, however there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

Fees and Payments

  • All Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious amenities.
  • Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each.
  • OFF-PEAK SPECIAL: Stay longer than the minimum number of nights and automatically receive a 5-10% Discount - only during rates listed as Off Peak.
  • Guests returning to Hawks Ridge may receive a discount of 5%, not to be combined with other discounts to the rent.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY: STRICT: Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.

Parking Information

  • Free parking is available.
  • The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • All Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
  • All homes offer a well-stocked kitchen with basic cooking utensils, stove, oven, dishwasher, and toaster. There is also a starter set of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
  • Towels and bed linens will be provided.
  • A hair dryer is provided.
  • Fish Camp guests also enjoy exclusive fishing access across the highway on the private, pristine headwaters of the Elk River for catch & release fishing of trophy trout.

  • The owners of this home use 3 exterior Ring floodlight security cameras to ensure their home remains safe. One is facing the driveway and the other two are on the back rear corners of the home.
  • Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are present in the home.

  • Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard from 7am-7pm Monday-Saturday.
